Time Slot and Duration

In order to accommodate everyone's busy schedules, we decided to divide the event into three time slots on July 26th. Each slot will be one hour long, as we firmly believe that this duration provides ample time for people to express their love creatively (Wrathall and Steriopoulos, 2022).

Additionally, due to an overwhelming number of participants expressing interest in the event, we have decided to open one more slot. This decision was driven by the fact that we still have leftover supplies and resources that can be utilised effectively during the event (Wrathall and Steriopoulos, 2022). Having an extra slot not only benefits the interested participants but also allows us to maximise the use of available resources, ensuring a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience for everyone involved (Wrathall and Steriopoulos, 2022).

Equipment and Resources Required

We have prepared a comprehensive list of supplies for the event, including Watercolor Paints, Pencils, Erasers, Paint Brushes, Palette, Dust sheet, Tissue, Cups for painting, Sponge, and Paper Plates. In addition to these artistic materials, we have also gathered items for decorating the venue, such as Balloons, Flowers, Posters, Mirrors, and Printed Posters displaying information about The Children's Society, along with a Charity bucket for donations. To ensure a smooth and organised event, we also have Name cards ready for all the enthusiastic participants (Wrathall and Steriopoulos, 2022). With these provisions in place, we look forward to creating an unforgettable and meaningful experience at "Love's Palette: Splash of Hope.”

Ticket Price

Participants were asked to make a £5 donation per person to reserve their spot at the event. In exchange, they received an event ticket granting them access to the delightful Sip and Paint experience, along with the added benefit of enjoying a 10% discount on all drinks during the event. Charging this nominal fee of £5 per person was a crucial measure to offset the expenses associated with organising the "Splash of Hope" Sip and Paint event and to provide participants with a top-notch artistic experience (Palmatier and Crecelius, 2019). The event's budget, outlined below, encompasses the various costs incurred to ensure a successful and meaningful event for all attendees.

The project's cost is set at around  130 pounds, and the break-even point occurs at 26 participants. Beyond this point, each additional participant adds to the project's profitability.
